High Absorption Diaper recommendations

Frustrated by frequent night changes and rewetting in the morning? Choose a diaper with high absorption, strong lock-in, and low rewet, and you will notice a big difference in dryness throughout the night. Aihu Baby Diapers will be a focus example in the outline below, but the key points of buying and testing will be discussed.

How to select a high absorption diaper?

The high-polymer SAP core is the secret to absorption.

AUL (Absorbency Under Load): the volume of liquid the core can still take in under a simulated baby weight and motion condition. High is better—strong uptake under pressure during rolling and crawling.
CRC (Centrifuge Retention Capacity): the amount of liquid the core locks in once saturated under centrifugal force to the core. High is better—stronger retention, less rewet, and drier skin.

Inclined-plane runoff test: Absorption speed you can see

Both the speed with which the moisture is locked in and the rate with which moisture is drawn in is important. Due to slow absorption, constant moisture against the skin, or the inability to lock in moisture, the skin is prone to nappy rash.

According to the GB standard, each nappy is attached to an incline and 60mL of water is poured along the equivalent of one urination.

Fast absorbent nappies will fill with water quickly and slower absorbent nappies will fill to the point of overflow and the water level in the beaker will rise.

Aihu Baby nappies pass the runoff test superbly.

Fast intake is not enough—no rewet matters too

A good diaper must absorb quickly and retain the liquid to the point that the outer surface is not damp.

In order to achieve the regional standard plus set in the standard, each nappy is held on a flat surface, and 80mL of water is poured. After one minute, a filter is placed on the nappy and with the filter, they are pressed for one minute, gently, and the nappy is checked for the rewet.

Our test sample exhibits the best performance in the category of rewet suppression.

Rewet test: weight pressing the diaper core while the topsheet stays dry.

Extreme absorption test

A baby on average produces 400-600mL of urine in a day, to demonstrate, we use 600mL: Aihu Baby diapers absorbs all of the liquid in 30 seconds without rewet.

The Overnight Absorption Baby Diapers

The combination of the advanced 3D structure in the cuffs, the elastic waistband, and the advanced absorption materials enables baby to comfortably sleep the entire night without disturbance from side leaks. Aihu allows babies to sleep through the night — waking up without a wet diaper.

Using Japanese Sumitomo SAP Material

We use imported Japanese SAP, containing about 65% SAP with a pure-core (no pulp) design — overall thinner and less prone to breaking.

Pure-core: strong integrity, anti-cracking, and combined with an acquisition layer and optimized zoning to spread liquid, boosts uptake and controls rewet. Thin but highly absorbent.

Even re-absorption across multiple wettings

Nighttime urination can sometimes “pool” in one region.

Channels + zoned absorption: first, clear the surface quickly, and then slowly sprinkle urine over designated areas.

Second/third wettings: parts that remain unexposed to wet saturation continue to work, lessening local saturation and clumping.

Breathable, skin-friendly topsheet with micro-perforations, soft to the touch.

3D standing leak guards

  • Dual standing cuffs: hug the thighs without flipping outward during movement.

  • High-stretch waistband: moves with motion without shifting when lying or rolling.

  • Pant-style cut: Improves and comfortable fit by reducing gaps at waist and legs.

High absorbance, but what else do you need?

Clearly, you need—breathability, skin-friendliness and skin safety!

No-rewet demo: tissue remains dry after absorption

Optimally designed to keep the skin dry and fresh.

Test method: With the use of a Gurley air-permeability tester, we conduct breathability assessments by recording the time taken for air to flow through a specified volume of 100 mL.

As expected, thickness with little correlation to breathability.

Soft, cushy, and gentle on skin.”

To a certain degree, excessive softness can degrade comfortability hence the need to use blind touch tests to measure softness without the influence of brand bias.

Safety and compliance: Non Toxic Baby Diapers

Excessive amounts can be harmful and can range from formaldehydemigratable fluorescent whitening agents, and some form of microbiological indicators as well as excess pH levels and acrylic acid residue. Non compliance puts a baby’s skin at a risk of irritation, skin rashes, or allergies. Our products meet the standards.

FAQ of High Absorption Baby Diapers

High Absorption Baby Diapers

My baby’s diaper leaks every fall and winter—why?

The blame can be assigned to either the placement of the diaper or the quality of the product.

In order for a baby to comfortably and peacefully sleep throughout the night choose a soft, high-abosorption diaper, and pay close attention to the following methods:

Boys: the instructions are to pull the front side up. Yes, we want to decrease the upward spray. Using a diaper, smooth the back Forward to the front. Over the grill, it should be much denser.

Girls: you should pull the back side and literally smooth the leak guards Front to the back.

Tabs: neatly align hook-and-loop tabs and keep nonwovens smooth and flat to prevent skin-to-skin rubbing; correct tabbing minimizes lateral leaks during movement.

Tension: ideal tightness for the waistband is “one finger easy, two fingers snug”.

Leg cuffs: pull out the inner standing cuffs until they sit against the thigh; flatten the core don’t let it coil, so it can breathe and absorb.

Why does my baby’s diaper keep leaking?

Incorrect wear

  • Back leaks: gap at the waist or back too low, and the bottom is sitting too low.
  • Thigh leaks: leg gathers are not unpinned; tabs left and right are skewed.
  • Waist leaks: the diaper is too small or thigh gathers are not adjusted.

Wrong size

  • Too small: cannot fully wrap; urine escapes at the edges.
  • Too large: inadequate contact with skin; moves with activity.

Not changed in time

  • High output or long wear time saturates the core, causing rewet or edge leaks.

High activity

  • Lots of kicking and rolling can change the position of the diaper and increase the likelihood of leaks.

Fixes

  • Wear correctly: waist above navel; angle tabs slightly downwards; leg cuffs pulled outward.
  • Select right size: based on weight and waist/leg fit.

Change on time:* Adjust time intervals based on output and activity.

During activity, check position to ensure there is no slippage.

How do I pick a diaper for a baby who is very active?

Start by looking at size and don’t assume bigger is better. The waist should fit two fingers comfortably (if your baby has a round tummy, one finger may be appropriate). The leg openings should not pinch. Ensure tabs aren’t loosely placed to minimize scratching.

Choose soft, moisture wicking materials that lack strong chemical smells. The inner layer should be smooth to the touch while the outer layer is vented to assist in airflow.

Check for absorption by pouring a cup of water. Look for quick uptake, no rewet, and a dry surface. Active babies requires elastic waistbands and 3D cuffs to prevent side leaks.

Purchase from well-known companies and buy a sample pack first. Check for rashes and if you see diaper free allergic reactions, change the diaper.

Which diapers hold for the entire night without changes?

Aihu baby diapers uses high grade, high SAP content with zoned flow design, no rewet under pressure, and 3D cuffs paired with an elastic waistband. So even with tossing and turning, diaper side leaks are minimal.

Why is baby experiencing diaper blowouts?

Main reasons

  • Size/fit issues: Too loose or tight on waist/legs lets them wriggle free.

  • High activity: Keeping the same as when the fins are flipped backward.

  • Excessive lowering: Goes beyond the maximum of what can be contained or the level of the barrier.

  • Industrial defect (rare): Broken stitches or areas with glue.

Short-term Procedures

  • Choose the appropriate size with increased size leak guards; waist and legs should be snug.

  • For poop, tilt the back up slightly towards the top when fastening to stop the flow.

  • Carry extra pairs; in the rare case use the spares so they will remain clean and not be left on for a long period of time.
